Acting is the bread an mortar of my life. I find joy in creating characters through physicality, collaboration, and the text. I am always seeking new projects and am voracious for discovery in this art form. If not in a project, I can be seen in classes to build my tool set.
Shakespeare, clowning, basic stage combat, and directing are my staples as a teaching artist. I grow as an artist every time I take to the classroom. I take joy in teaching various ages about the joy of character development and theatrical art.
Without our basic needs taken care of, we can't thrive and art can't thrive. After returning from the Peace Corps under the project Protected Areas Management, I have been consistently looking for ways to share my knowledge, change my waste profile, and reduce my carbon footprint and take as many people along for the journey with me.
